Bülent Özdil was born in Rothenburg ob der Tauber in 1981 and grew up in Bad Windsheim, Germany. He trained as an actor at the Wiesbaden School of Acting (WSfS), graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2006. During his training he got his first role at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden as Valentin in Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Urfaust.
From 2006 to 2010 he worked, among other things, as an actor in Bern and appeared in several television productions. This was followed by engagements at the Westfälisches Landestheater in Castrop-Rauxel and the Schauspielhaus Salzburg. During this time, he played the role of Faust in Goethe's drama of the same name, among others. Before he became a member of the ensemble of the German State Theater Timisoara at the beginning of the 2022/23 season, his play Advocatus Diaboli celebrated its world premiere in Salzburg.
At GSTT, Bülent's performances include A.P. Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard as Lopahin Ermolai Alexeevich; Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book as Shere Khan; William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream as Theseus/Oberon; Pascal Rambert's Theatre as Bernd; Andrea Wolfer & Swantje Volkmann's Danube Destinies as Maximilian Emmanuel Fremaut.
He has worked, among others, with Volker Schmidt, Răzvan Mazilu, Kristóf Szabó, Pascal Rambert.
