You take one vainglorious queen and endow her with magical powers. She is given an enchanted mirror as an adviser and the most gorgeous girl in the country as a stepdaughter. You then take seven funny dwarfs and send three little cute animals to show Snow White the path to the dwarfs' shack in the forest. You stir the queen, turned into the Old Hag, to poison an apple and offer it to the girl as a gift. All these ingredients are battered together and dipped into plenty of colour and engaging music. You add a speck of humour to the mixture and also call the brave prince and you, kids and adults together, can savour in the end " Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", the most beloved fairy-tale on stage.
"The direction is accompanied by Ilie Stepan's music, created for an attractive and exhilarating musical, not only for children, but also for adults, through a nostalgic insight within the age of innocence and playfulness. The syncretism between play, image and song leads to an overdose of illusion which, filtered through chills, climaxes in joy."
"Sweet dwarfs and other similar little animals, in funny costumes, intensely colored, just enough to steal the eyesight, an extremely pictorial Snow White, a right step mother and the story unfold without digressions within the scenographic frame created by Geta Medinski, whose artifices have opened doors towards fantastic worlds."
