Late at night, after a party, Martha and her husband George arrive home. For the end of the evening Martha invited to their place young professor Nick and his wife. In this context, Martha and George begin a cruel and odious game, capable of revealing unsuspected sides in the personality of each person present. Whether they want it or not, they are now all compelled to face repressed and culpable emotions from their own past.
