Participation in the Theatre Festival in Brăila
The German State Theatre in Timişoara (GSTT) received a special invitation to participate in Brăila's "Days and Nights of European Theatre" Festival with the play "Judgment", by Barry Collins, with Alexander Hausvater as director. The performance is scheduled for Monday, September 8th 2008, at 7 p.m. at "Maria Filotti" Theatre in Brăila. Cast includes Georg Peetz, Radu Miodrag Vulpe, Ioana Iacob, Isolde Cobeţ and Simona Vintilă. George Petre signs the scenography and the performance is translated into Romanian via headsets.

At the 4th edition of the Festival in Brăila, under the motto Europe via the Balkans, invitations were also honoured, in addition to ensembles from Romania, by theatres from Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey. It is worth mentioning that this is the only Romanian festival, as well as one of the very few in Europe, dedicated to promoting theatre from the Balkans and South-East Europe.
